My hair's a light-ish brown-ish color. Nothing special. It's short. It's choppy. It's not the prettiest thing ever. I like it, though. It's not really something you expect to see everyday. It's not very girly-ish in my opinion. That's good, though, 'cuz I really don't want to walk around having everyone thinking I'm girly. Nonono. That won't happen, because that'd be dumb shit.
Speaking of clothing... No, I don't wear the leaves anymore. I wish I did, but, apparently, I can't walk around without regular clothes on. Whatever. That's some dumb stuff if you ask me. My outfit is red, not blue, unfortunately. Red is a stupid color and blue is just so much better and you know it. And if you start with those stupid 'you like blue because your name is sapphire' puns, you're going to receive a nice punch to the face. Seriously. But, whatever, I didn't choose the colors. Back to the topic of clothes, though. I wear a bandanna all the time and I rarely take it off. [She gestures towards the red bandanna on top of her head and smiles at the thought of talking about it] And I mean, rarely. Even though I don't really like the stupid 'clothes' that I have to wear, I like the bandanna. Besides that, though, I've got a skirt thing.. I'm not exactly sure what it is, actually. After all, it's got this girly shit under it called leggings or something. But, I mean, I'm glad I wear it, 'cuz a lot of guys these days are attracted to skirts or something.
Haha. My clothing's pretty dirty, though, because of the positions I use and all the
My eyes are a sapphire blue. By now you're probably thinking, "Of course they are". Well, you know what? I didn't ask for your sarcasm. [She frowns at the mention of sarcasm, then shakes her head] So, shut it. Once, I was told that I have a feline-like look to me. Well, you know what I think? I think they're right. After all, my teeth are pretty sharp and all, which helps in giving me that look. It might be one of the reasons why I've been mistaken for a pokemon quite a few times. 'Not too sure about that one, though. Maybe those people are just dumb shit.[/color][/ul]

Oh, so, personality, huh? Well, I'm smart when it comes to natural things. Like berries and their uses and stuff. I tend to use those things a lot more than store bought things, as a matter of fact. People sometimes say that learning and remembering that kind of stuff is hard, but I have to disagree. It's easy to learn about the wild kind of stuff and it's definitely not hard to remember it, unless you're dumb. [She nods, knowing that she is most likely right about it being easy to learn]
I'm not weak and I'm definitely not afraid to kick your ass, okay? I'm tougher than a lot of people seem to be nowadays and I'm seriously strong. Not just strong with words, but with my actions, too. It's just that I'm not afraid of a lot of things and that means that I'm not afraid to kick your ass or anything, as said before. I really think that you shouldn't get on my bad side, if you know what I mean. [She smirks and nods, crossing her arms as she does so]
I'm wild. So what? It's fun and it makes me feel good. Being tame and boring and all that is really boring, if you ask me. I mean, why would anyone want to be that way on purpose? Just... being wild is like being free if you ask me. What? You don't like that? Well, I'm sorry. [She shrugs, not really sorry whatsoever]
Being loud is fun. I'm not afraid to yell when we're supposed to be quiet. Sure, I might get in trouble, but it's totally worth it, though. Being quiet is just plain boring. I know that being quiet is good sometimes, but that doesn't mean I like it. I can be quiet though, of course, just like everyone else.
I'm not a wuss or a coward or a sissy. I'm pretty damn brave. I mean, I'm not afraid of you, nor will I ever be, and there's hardly anything else I'm afraid of, either. I'm usually the first to do things and I'm not afraid to be the leader or anything. I don't like cowards that much, but I have to deal with them sometimes, though.
And oh yeah! I am definitely not girly, if you couldn't tell that by now. I sort of have a bad attitude, too, if you haven't noticed that already. As a matter of fact, I do like to use 'curse words', so you're just going to have to deal with that, I guess. Not that it matters, right? I helped more with my Papa's research, after that, as well. Which helped me even more in the process of becoming less girly and more brave. When I was old enough, I began hanging out in the wild by myself and, as I did that, I came to like it more and more each day. I stayed out there to help by finding as many pokemon as I could in that area.
My knowledge of pokemon grew even more while I was out there, which I was grateful about. I tended to stay out there a lot, maybe longer than I should have. I depended on berries, rather than the pokemart and such, unlike other trainers do. I guess staying out there made me act even more wild, but I don't really know. I even gained sharper instincts when it came to battling and pokemon.
Now, I still help my Papa with his research, by recording the pokemon I see in my pokedex. Though, more than that, I'm trying to become strong enough to beat all the gym leaders so I can be the best trainer. Not to mention that I was actually trained by one of the gym leaders; a certain bird-lady from Fortree. [/color][She smiles at the thought, a joke-y expression finally coming to her][/ul]

"So, this is the Kanto Region! What do you think, Toro? Rono?"
As soon as the brunette spoke, her two companions nodded. Sure, they weren't exactly sure what she had said, but they knew that she had used their names in the sentence and they were sure that she had asked a question. That was only obvious to them; they could tell by her tone that it had been a question. They were used to this tone, too, seeing that their trainer spoke to them often. It wasn't because she was lonely, because she wasn't. No, it was because she enjoyed speaking to them. Her pokemon were her friends, after all, like most trainers' were.
Once she saw them nod, she nodded as well and placed her hands firmly on her hips. She smiled down at them and then stared out at the view of the area again. Man, was it nice. Kanto seemed to be big and space-y and... wild. She imagined that there were plenty of forest areas and stuff like that. She just couldn't wait to get there, really. Not that she was all that patient, anyways. Just the thought of exploring a new place, though, urged her on.
"Okay, guys! Let's go now, huh? Don't wanna hafta wait til it's morning again, so we're gonna hafta get going before it gets dark!" She explained to them happily, "So, come on! Gooo!" She began walking again, a grin on her face. There were even more gym leaders here in Kanto. Even though she hadn't beaten all of the ones in Hoenn yet, she was sure to battle the ones in this region. They had to be willing to, right? ...unless, of course, they were on vacation... No, they wouldn't be! They're gym leaders, after all!
"Tor!" The orange bird-like creature chirped in response. Even she seemed excited at the thought of battling all the trainers in Kanto. Of course, they probably couldn't exactly battle all of them, but she'd try her best to battle most of them. She wanted to be the best, after all, right? Right.
"Aron!" The iron pokemon agreed. Sapphire wasn't exactly sure what they were saying, but she nodded anyways. She had to let them know that she was listening no matter what, right? Yeah. To be honest, the pokemon could be saying that she was stupid and she would still nod for them. Because, really, she had no clue what they were saying exactly.
Kanto was supposed to be a big region. At least, that was what she had heard about it. Eight gym leaders plus the elite four? She was going to train hard if she wanted to beat anyone here. That wouldn't be a problem, though. Training was fun. She wasn't afraid to get down and dirty in order to do it, either. Maybe the way she did things was wrong, but it certainly wasn't in her opinion.
The wind tugged at her hair as she continued forward and, luckily, her red bandanna was secure on her head. Otherwise, she might just have to take a detour in order to retrieve the accessory. Sure, it wasn't anything much, but it was special to her. Not because of who had made it, but because she just... liked it. She really didn't have a reason for it. Then again, not everyone did when it came to their favorite things.
"I can't wait, guys! I just wanna battle so bad! I just hafta! Y'know?" She had to fit some conversation in somewhere. Sure, she wasn't all that chatty, but she didn't like it when it was too quiet. Although, when it was quiet, she could relax and enjoy her surroundings more. But, still. Relaxing was bor-ing! She didn't like boring things much. Actually, she didn't like them at all.
"Ron!" "Chic!"
The pokemon replied in unison. It sounded pretty messed up, though, considering the fact that they sounded so different. Sapphire just smiled again and continued walking. Although it was hot out, she didn't seem to mind it. She was used to all kinds of weather, since she spent most of her time outside and all.
She stopped in her tracks and took in a deep breath. "Damn," she murmured, "just look at that view... It's even better than before!" The ground where she was standing was elevated a bit higher than the land surrounding it, so she could see quite a bit of the region from there and, she had to admit, the view was amazing.
"Well," she finally said, taking her gaze away from the region, "you guys ready? We're gonna hafta be tough to take on this whole region! It'll be great!" In all honesty, she wanted to believe that more than anything. Because, if something ruined her time in this region, well....
Let's just say that Sapphire wouldn't be a happy camper.
Not that anyone would really care if she was or not. Most of her friends and stuff were back in Hoenn, not here. She'd had to say good bye to most of them when she decided that she was coming here. She didn't mind, though; she could make new friends here, right? Even if she didn't, though, she wouldn't really care.
...she also had a rival back in Hoenn. Now who was she supposed to challenge to battles nonstop
She frowned and then quickly shook her head. She wasn't going to let those thoughts bring her down. No, she was supposed to be enjoying herself here, not the other way around. Just because she was a bit home-sick already didn't mean anything. She could last. Even if she didn't, though, she could always go back...
"Nah," she thought aloud, "it's too late to go back now. I came here to become a better trainer and that's what I'm going to do." She nodded. Of course she had considered going back already, but she had quickly dropped those thoughts as fast as they had came to her. She liked adventure, so why would she have any doubts about coming here? She wasn't sure of that herself.
Either way, she was sticking around for a while.[/ul]
