setting:
the undergrounds, roar.
or maybe one of the two teams' bases. whichever.
plot:
various trainers all over are getting invitations to participate in a special event that is held very, very rarely. so rarely that no one has really ever heard of it or at least never believed it. the game sounds fun, at first, but the problem with the game is that it is risky. maybe too risky, one might say.
the other problem is that it isn't voluntary; the people who receive the invitations have to participate. the group holding the event will do anything to get them into the game, even if it means having the ground disappear under their own feet.
the invitation says nothing about replying to it. nothing about meeting somewhere to begin. it confuses many and interests others. it only has a few things written on it, in a formal type of handwriting:
you have been officially invited to participate in one of the largest events ever to be held. your position is -insert position name here plz- and you shall belong to the -insert team name here-. our greatest wish is that you enjoy yourselves. sincerely,
the last part is left blank. no name that can be contacted is available. the only thing left to do is wait--- wait until you are dragged(without choice) into the game.
the game itself:
you know how you can play 'capture the flag' in the undergrounds on the d/p/p games? well, the game is basically a way larger version than that. they're two teams that you can be put into and three major positions that you can have.
the game is supposed to last one day(which is much shorter in a role play than in real life, lulz) and the team with the most flags at the end of the game gets to leave. the losers, however, have to stay in the undergrounds until the next game begins.
teams:
red team, blue team.
keep the ratios even, okay?
tell me what team you want when joining, too.
positions:
defense(they guard the flags and make sure that the other team doesn't steal them).
offense(um, they steal the flags from the other teams).
captains(only one per team; they command what their team does, etc.)
ratios even, too.
{kingdom battle}
setting:
uh. some kingdom-y like area. there's a small village-area with a few market places, et cetera. in the middle of it all, is a large colosseum that's main purpose is for battles, though it is occasionally used for contests.
th-this might be more au, i guess? i don't know if that's really the word for it, but alright.
plot:
in this area of the pokemon regions, there isn't a matter of free choice and independence and such; no, everything you do is decided by one person(perhaps two). that person is known as the king/queen of the area. at first, when people decided to start settling here, they had know clue that the area would fall under such a thing. if they would've known, most people would've probably never came. most people would probably leave before it had happened.
but, the problem is, that once it begins, you can't leave. the 'peasants' or so they were called, were not allowed to leave the kingdom/town area. no, as a matter of fact, no one was allowed to leave. even if that person didn't even live there. once people got there, they stayed there, until someone else took over and decided to change the rules.
the only ways for the rules to change, though, was for someone to defeat the current queen/king in a pokemon battle. but, not only that, they will also have to face all the people guarding the king/queen. and when they get to the ruler, it won't be exactly easy, either. the king/queen is equipped with the strongest pokemon around the area, whether it be their own or someone else's that they had taken.
the chance to battle the leader was rare, though, considering the fact that it was risky for the current queen/king. of course, just like anyone else would be, they aren't so willing to give up their throne to just anyone. and since the chance is rare, many people show up to compete, even if they don't live in the area.
the winner(if there is one, that is) gets the prize of becoming the king or queen of the area. the rules are left for them to change and the lives of the people leaving there are left in their hands. the former queen/king is normally banished from the area, but if that happens or not is left to be decided by the new ruler.
and now, finally, after all the waiting of the people, the competition is beginning once again. it's now open for people to register and, by people, i mean anyone. anyone who wants to get the chance to become leader of the area, even if it's not the largest place ever.
the battle itself:
before the challengers can reach the guards(people who they battle before the king/queen), they must first battle each other. the one who is left standing after that gets to presume in the battle and they get the chance to battle the guards, who are currently protecting the king/queen. if they manage to defeat them(which isn't very likely, by the way), they get to compete against the king/queen, to see who will become the new leader of the area.
though, the people who lose, have to stay in the kingdom area even longer. after they are defeated in the first rounds, they have to wait to the whole contest is over to find what their true fates are. some decide to hang around the colosseum and mingle, while others decide to head back to the village area to rest their pokemon and themselves.
the positions:
the competitors: around five max, i guess?
the guards: there are three. i don't care what they're rolls are, they just have be able to battle well. heck, they could be the jester for all i care.
the king/queen: uh. one or two, duhhh. maybe there can be a king or queen, but only if that certain character is married or something. i'unno.
people who are watching: idc how many there are of these. cx
{natural is best}
setting:
the cave-y route between oreburg and hearthome. there are two extremely large rocks blocking both the exits of the place and there's really no other way out. the rocks can't just be broken by regular pokemon, though. or hms. because you totally don't have hms in this plot. |DD;;
plot:
some how, some way, oreburg town and hearthome city got into a huge argument over which of the two places were more "natural". natural, for hearthome, seemed to be more about having a home-y feel and being pretty. while, for oreburg, natural meant... well, really being natural(considering how they have coal and all that crap).
eventually, the fighting got worse. so much so, that the two towns decided that no one would be able to come and go from one another. anyone who wanted to come from oreburg to hearthome would have to find another way, and vice-versa. they blocked off the route that allowed people to travel between the two places.
no other cities really showed any concern, except for floroma, who was in the contest at first, too. but, being the peaceful town that it was, the citizens of floroma decided that it would be best for them if they dropped out. but now that... well, now that this was happening, they decided it was best for them to get involved.
before the cave route was blocked off, floroma had decided to hire a few trainers, gym leaders, etc. to try and help stop this argument between the two very, uh, "natural" places. of course, they had to be able to travel between the the two cities in order to speak to the people of each of them. the only problem was that, while traveling across the cave route, both exits seemed to be blocked off at the same time.
seeing this, the hired trainers quickly realized that they were trapped. the job at hand seemed to be forgotten as soon as they noticed this, though, because escaping soon became a more important matter at the time. so, they try their best to, well, get along so they can plan how to get out together. because, after all, it won't do them much good to stay separated.
the problem is, though, that they don't exactly get along. not all of them, at least. some of them are already familiar with each other, while others are just meeting. either way, their views and opinions aren't all the same. they have different ideas, plans, et cetera. that seems to be the main problem and the fact that they're in a dark cave doesn't really help. at all.
the problem itself:
i already explained it in the plot, alright? so, go read that if you don't remember it. but, uh, besides that.... they need to get together to come up with a really great plan that will bust them out of the stupid cave mess but the fact that some people are hatin' on other people doesn't make it any better. cx
um. yeah. secret plots are not to be added. because i get to hide them from you guys just because i can. |DDD
so. read the fail now plz? cx
