While dormant, a legendary Pokemon is not supposed to be disturbed by humans. They left them to their resting places, only the foolish daring to venture into their territory to rouse them into destruction.
.... So why was he on display, for the young and old to see? In a MUSEUM no less! Museums were booooring! Why couldn't they put him somewhere fun?
While he himself was asleep, Jirachi was capable of remaining mentally alert, as an Abra might. He wasn't able to do anything inside his dormant form, though he was perfectly aware of when some noisy humans found him. He remembered it well enough- they found him, began yelling, then picked him up and shipped him off to wherever here was.
After a short trip, they shoved him in a glass case and called him a meteorite. Joy.
The psychic type mentally sighed, sensing a small boy pressing his snotty nose against the glass case he lay in, his mother attempting to urge him along in vain. So, for the time he cured the human race of their worries, this was the thanks he got? Such rudeness! This is why he rather disliked the human race overall. No respect for their elders.
It was times like this he wished he was someone big and powerful, like Groundon. Maybe even Mew. THEY never got put on display... No, THEY were allowed to rest and roam as they liked. It wasn't fair!
By now, the child had stopped ogling him, as his presence seemed to be farther away now. The meteorite simply rested on it's post, undisturbed once more for a little while until the next group came along. He hoped those guys didn't come around AGAIN- the flashy thingies they had messed with his psychic frequency thinger.
If only they knew...

Viridian Forest hadn't been so bad, really. No large ponds that could have housed any annoying, aggressive Water-types, and the Bugs that ran rampant in the thick forest left the massive Rayquaza alone. Not only that, but the large Viridian trees easily concealed his glimmering emerald body, and the poisonous Beedrill that had basically claimed the heart of Viridian Forest kept the humans from sticking their flat faces anywhere near.
But Ozzy was beyond Viridian Forest now. The snake-like god slithered through the thinning trees at the edge of one of the many human cities, growling vaguely to himself. To think that humans, those tiny, flimsy little snacks, were so overpopulated, that they forced a GOD to have to sneak around them. It was utterly demeaning. The dragon’s black-rimmed yellow eyes seemed to narrow. Normally, Ozzy wouldn’t have bothered going so close to a human city like this…Pewter, did they call it nowadays? Pehh.
But, it was something of a special occasion. Curving his serpentine form to avoid a tree, Rayquaza turned his horned head to the side, giving his travelling companion a look.
Still with me, buddy? [/b] He growled teasingly, his mood brightening considerably as he remembered his good friend was with him. Ozzy had been travelling with Raikou since they had met up in Rainbow Beach, and just being with another who shared his interests and outlook on life made being anywhere near humans bearable. Ozzy could see building up ahead through the trees, and the collective scent of human reached his nostrils. It was odd. The smell both disgusted him, and made his stomach rumble in hunger. Ozzy whipped his tail to the side in irritation, effectively slamming it against a tree, and leaving a good-sized slash in the bark.
There’s apparently some museum in this city, or some shit. I flew over it once; has a pretty big courtyard with some trees. We could chill there for a while. It should be just up ahead.[/b] Ozzy told his friend, opening his red-rimmed jaws slightly.
With that he sped up and raced ahead, whipping around trees by twisting the rudders placed down his length to turn quickly. He spotted the particularly large museum building ahead and flew past it, finally breaking out of the trees when he was far enough away that he couldn’t have been seen from the front.
Rayquaza gave a snort as he curled his body up like a spring, waiting for Raikou to join him. His yellow eyes gazed around for anyone that might have seen him. He was almost hopeful someone had, as, well, he was looking for a snack.

'M with ya, Oz.
Raikou watched his friend weave through the forest while stepping easily from branch to branch, strong paws propelling him across the trees at the same rate Rayquaza was slithering toward Pewter. Ah, such a wonderful thing to be on vacation, away from Zapdos and the annoying tasks that came along with the spiky bird. Not an official vacation, of course, just a temporary absence for Raikou's peace of mind.
Assured health was not a given for this trip, though, so the God was very wisely avoiding all things that could have potentially iced him back into his job. Namely his sister. Besides, it was somewhat pleasing to be sneaking walking innocently through Viridian Forest with his pal Ozzy. The feline slipped to a lower branch, wood creaking where his weight was almost too much for the tree to bear, and continued his smooth-gait path through the foliage after the other God.
The human scent hit Raikou just a bit after it reached Rayquaza, making the feline display the base of the cruel fang jutting over his bottom lip with a slight rumbling in his chest. Smelled like rock here, and the sense made Rai toss his head quickly before letting his mane settle with its usual flickering static onto his back.
Sounds hella better than bird-chasing, yeah, was his reply to Ozzy's suggestion and the thunder cat crouched to pierce the forest's canopy with a quick leap. Paws found the familiar resistance of electrons, and the God loped quickly onto the path arranging itself into form for him. Soon Rayquaza's lithe form whipped out of the forest and past the "museum" thing too, so Raikou stepped down until standing next to the God's head, electricity-reminiscent tail flickering from backpaws to sides to air.
A'ight, so a courtyard or something? Sounds like fun, or at least some human scaring, yeah. Raikou stretched a back leg leisurely before pouncing down a pace toward the museum's spacious yard, head turned to direct a playfully questioning glance back at Ozzy.

It was faint from within the glass, but he could feel it. Not one, but TWO rather strong presences. They were too far to fully identify, though the amount of power they held from such a distance made him believe they could be almost... legendary?
... Which legendary in their right mind would come out here? The idea puzzled him. Wouldn't the humans just chuck the round orb-things at them and attempt to "capture" them? He had never truly experienced this back in his day, but he'd been hearing a lot about it before he was shoved into the Museum.
However, as the presences approached, he felt the overwhelming sense of familiarity. A big green dragon and a thunder cat/dog/thing... Who else! Maybe they were just passing by, or... maybe they'd come to rescue him! If being in a rock allowed anything other than telepathy, he might have whooped in joy. To be away from the humans pressing their faces in the glass! To be away from the creepy stares!
Most of all...
TO BE AWAY FROM THE RADIO! YAY! If he had to listen to what the humans called "Achy Breaky Heart" ONE more time... He swore, whatever was left of his mind would have been exploded. BOOM! With that, he'd be no more than an actual rock.
Figuring since, Ozzy and Rai' probably couldn't read presences as he could, he amplified his own psychic power, letting his energies run off the power of the presences of the passing legendaries, attempting to transfer a message to them. It was weak and probably somewhat hard to understand, as his strength still had yet to fully return, but it still made the call.
"Ozzzyyyy! Raaaikooooo! H.. Mooseum... Captcha Halp!!"

There didn't appear to be anyone around. Any humans, anyway. It was a shame, really. During the trek from Vermilion they hadn't had much of a chance to rest, and Ozzy was hungry. The smell of human drifted by on the breeze, making his stomach grumble audibly.
Human scaring? Heh, yeah, I say we do a little more than tha', Rai. Y'know what I'm saying, buddy?[/b] Ozzy growled darkly, his maw seeming to curve upwards at the corners as if in a smile. This just added to his already rather bloodthirsty appearance, however. He floated a little higher, flying around in rapid circles. Lurking about among trees was annoyingly slow-paced, and even if he wasn't covering much distance by spinning around as he was, it was good to be moving quickly again.
However, he halted very rapidly, causing a small maelstrom of wind to wave through the grass, when a voice spoke in his head. It was a telepathic message, simultaneously strong and weak.
There was no doubting the power of the psychic force Ozzy sensed in his mind, but it was almost as if the power was being held back. The way a bidoof's dam stopping the river from flowing at full force, Ozzy detected some sort of blocker to the power. But yet, it was strong. Surely another God like him.
He heard his name and Rai's being thought by the force, and by the sound of it, it was an SOS.
Could it have been...JIR?
Ozzy turned his head toward Rai, his lip curling upward to display his two fangs.
Sounds like someone's in trouble. Shall we go see what's the matter?[/b] He asked rather deviously, eying the surely full-of-tasty-humans museum nearby. If Jir, the little sleepyhead, was in some sort of trouble, Ozzy would do what he could. The small little creature had a similar outlook on humans as he did, and was thus worthy of this sort of attention. Sure, he didn’t eat them as Rayquaza did, but that was mostly because he was much too small to do that effectively.
He didn’t know if the psychic link was still active, as Ozzy was no Psychic pokemon, but he tried to send a message back as he slithered through the air closer to the museum.
We’re comin’, Jir![/b] Ozzy snarled out the thought determinedly as if he were flying into battle rather than towards a museum full of very-likely-harmless humans. Either way though, anyone who forced a god to send out an SOS was pretty much starting a war.
And Ozzy was determined to finish it.

Of course Rayquaza would want more than scaring humans. Rai grinned toothily (SABERtoothily) at the thought, scuffing a paw against the magnetized air under him. 'Guess so. Some electric mouse told me Vesi was halfway across the region anyways, a little meal here couldn't hurt eh? And here it was truly shown that Rai was having a good time. If the God was willing to risk his sister's wrath and go terrorize a few humans he must have been really lax in mind; normally anything concerning humans and danger and such had him mumbling about a rain check and going to stalk Zapdos again. The feline had morphed into such a sarcastic, wary God. Strange how he'd used to actually let humans go about their business without the thunderstorms that trailed in Raikou's wake.
Ozzy halted, and the responding bout of wind had Raikou's attention immediately. Then the message came, and Rai tilted his head to listen while shifting from paw to paw on his unseen platform. No shit, Jir? he relayed back before twisting a quick cat-circle in midair. Rayquaza's suggestion brought a roguish smirk to the God's face, his mind immediately set on the idea. Sure, Oz. You wanna go through a window or just take the roof off? Evidently, the front doors did not exist in Raikou's sight or mind. The feline scraped eagerly at the air, then let himself drop to the actual ground to get the feel of gravity before any charges or such were attempted.

Kanto is a pretty nice place.
Mesprit smiled as she looked over the mountain range she was currently soaring over. Opting for a break from her tedious and impossibly boring life as Lake Guardian of the Whatever, she screwed with the minds, movements, and emotions of ordered the other, less-Legendary Pokemon who lived in her beautiful lake to watch over it for her, because she was too bored STRESSED to continue with her work for a while. So, in order to calm herself (it was common knowledge around her lake that Mesprit frequently needed calming) she would be taking a nice side trip to Kanto.
She had, in all honestly, heard that Jirachi and Rayquaza and Raikou and maybe even Suicune were chillin' there, and didn't want to miss out on anything.
Her serene smile upon looking down on the beautiful, unique, NATURAL mountains began to flicker as she approached the City of Whatever - oh, oh wait, it said 'Pewter' in that modified Unown rune language on the sign over there, so it's called Pewter City maybe - which was cold and uniform and UNNATURAL. Rawrawrawr. It was too pretty a mountain range to kill with that... stuff. Sighing, she passed the edge of the mountain and flicked on her Totally Awesome Invisibility Abilities.
She thoroughly enjoyed swooping down on unknowing townsfolk for some pranking, but today didn't seem like that kind of day for some reason. So, shaking her head, InvisiSprit floated through the door of some random, big building with a group of humans who were totally not worth her time. Her eyes widened in pleased surprise.
Rocks. Beautiful, NATURAL rocks!
Mesprit was pleased with this. Yay~ she thought. Maybe those humans have some sanity left in them after all! But oooh, this rock looks like the one I have on that far end of the lake... and that other one is like the one at the bottom... and ohhh wow, that me... met... mite... METEORITE looks just like Ji-
Waaaaait.
Mesprit paused. She placed her InvisiPaws against the glass, staring in at the 'meteorite' that was really Jirachi but that the STUPID people labelled as some rock from outer space. HOW DARE THEY.
Mesprit nearly screeched loudly and broke down the glass then and there. But as she recoiled her fist to punch, she realized two things in quick succession: she was invisible, and having glass crush itself would look pretty freaky to the morons around her. And also, she had little to no upper body strength.
Silently cursing her flimsy frame, Mesprit settled on sitting on top of the glass cage-thing and tapping it lightly. "Jirachiiiiiiii?" she whispered to the glass, and hopefully to the disguised-as-a-meteorite Jirachi underneath it. "Are you okay in there? Do you need help or anything? Do you want me to get one of these humans to, like, break the cage or something?"

Maintaining the connection with Ozzy and Rai proved to be far more taxing then previously thought. Feeling his already extrodinarily limited energies waining, he cut the telepathic connection to their minds, prepared to wait for the screaming and burning objects.
It was then another presence came to his attention. Right in front of him. Strong too- a fellow psychic type, maybe?... Then the voice came. That voice... he recognized her now! Feeling he had enough energy to communicate with a fellow psychic close to him, he allowed himself to speak again.
Mespirit? He half-asked, as if trying to verify the identity of the one in front of him, tone quickly changing to joy. She was easy to talk to- no more strain then having a regular conversation with someone at their current distance. He quite liked that. It's been real long! How've ya beens?
Then the question of him needing help came. Well, what did it look like? He was being incorrectly called a meteorite and having those weirdo humans staring at him every day, making him feel awkward as he slept... Rather than saying this, however, he made a fair attempt to be polite.
Well, ums, breaking me outta here would be nice...
((x.x Short, sorry. Being dragged off.))

Jirachi! You're okay! Alright, that's good. At least we won't have to bring in the Chimecho. Mesprit smiled at her little joke. I'm just fine, actually. A little worn out from all of this 'invisible flying' business that happens near towns, but otherwise okay.
As Jirachi sent his second question of the evening, Mesprit snapped back into reality and replied accordingly. Well, um, I have really bad upper body strength - come to think of it, really bad body strength PERIOD - so, uh, I guess I could just get one of these people over here to break you out or something. Like... uh... yeah, it won't be suspicious if the guard dude by the door breaks it open, right?
...
Right!
Not bothering to wait for Jirachi to respond to her question, InvisiSprit climbed back into the air and over to the 'guard dude' she had mentioned previously. It only took a few minutes for the man to know exactly what she wanted him to do, and how to do it. Emotion-tweaking is so much fun~ she thought cheerily as she watched the man walk over to the cage casually, fumble in his pockets, open the case, and casually take Jirachi out of the museum.
It's okay, Jirachi, she said in case he had no idea what was going on. I've got this guy under my control. He's gonna drop you off somewhere in the area around the mountain, and then we'll work on getting you out, 'kay?
She followed invisibly as the man dutifully trooped through the town, holding Jirachi the Meteorite carefully in his arms as if he were a young human baby. Ignoring all of the stares and yells, he walked to the edge of the forest, kneeled down, and placed Jirachi in a comfortable-looking (to Mesprit) patch of grass. Mesprit waved him away with a mental reminder, and when he stepped back inside the city limits the spell was broken.
Mesprit ignored the angry humans yelling at him for something he didn't want to do.
