Yer Name: Frenzy. :3
Position Desired: Admin
Position Description: Well, I would probably advertise alot on good populated sites as well as affiliate with others. I would also work on the boards if anything needed to be finished (which I can see it does xD). I would help out with accepting characters and if I wasn't sure about a descision then I'd ask Ren and/or Faron for a second opinion. ^^ I'd also help out if there were any disputes between members and make sure everyone was being appropriate in threads- you know, no really dirty or sexually-related stuff.
Years of Experience: Around five.
Characters Played: Soon Tomo, I hope. xP
Thoughts About the Site: I love it! Though the boards aren't finished yet, and the basics aren't complete, I can tell it's going to be great once finsihed. ^^ I love how we play canons on here, so we don't have any thin supermodels that own a Dialga saying "I will pwn joo!" Okay, so I was exaggerating (I've only seen one person roleplay THAT badly) but still, I think it's a great idea. ^^
Improvements: As maentioned above I'd advertise to get more members and affiliate with other sites, but I'd also make more graphics and stuff- even YouTube videos for advertisements as well. I could also make signatures and avatars for people who can't find good pictures of their character. ^^ I could also make new skins 'n stuff to spruce the place up a bit. =D
Roleplaying Sample:
"KANGA KANGASKAHN!"
A young boy shouted triumphantly from the treetops, in a manner similar to Tarzan's powerfull yell, though seemingly loosing it's effect because of his young age. A light breeze blew past, ruffling his sea-green hair. His deep chocolate-colored eyes held confidence, determination, and the sense of adventure as he looked out among the city of Fuchsia. It wasn't too far off, just past the forest he was currently traveling through. Tomo was a bit nervous about being so near other humans, as he had lived the past years of his life as a Kangaskhan.
He had never visited a city before- at least, not as far as he could remember. Tomo hadn't been raised in a human society. He didn't know how they acted, talked, or even walked. They certaintly didn't swing from trees like he did, and probably couldn't run as fast as he could, either. Since he had grown up with Pokemon, he had become quite strong as well and learned special Pokemon skills- like what berries tasted good and how to talk with Pokemon. But still, part of him wished he had learned to live like a normal human.
Tomo hopped down from the treebranch, landing gracefully on the ground with ease. He landed near two Kangaskhan- one young, one an adult. The baby was comfortably snuggled in their "Momma"'s pouch. The Kangaskhan mother smiled at Tomo, patting his head and ruffling his hair- making the boy laugh and hug his adopted mother. He let out a yawn, as they had been traveling for some time. The Pokemon pointed to her pouch, but Tomo shook his head. "I can walk to the city, Momma." Yes, he still called her "Momma"...at least when they were alone, that was. He didn't want to be embarassed in front of other people.
However, the Kangaskhan mother wouldn't hear of it and picked her "son" up, making him wiggle and try to get out of her grip. Unofortunetly, even though he was strong, he wasn't stronger than the large Pokemon and was placed in her pouch, making Tomo cross his arms stubbornly. Still, the Kangaskhan patted his head and walked forwards, carrying her two children. Only after a few minutes Tomo fell asleep, but was soon woken up by the sounds of the city. The Kangaskhan lifted him out of her pouch, letting him walk on his own for a bit.
As he walked into Fuchsia City, he gaped at all the tall buildings. Hhe heard a dinging noise and he jumped- quickly turning around to dart out of the way of a man on a bicycle, zooming past him. Tomo shouted, terrified, having no idea what the creature with wheels was was. As he recovered his "cool", he began to walk further into town, noticing that people were giving him strange stares. It was probably because of his strange and outlandish clothes and because he traveled with such a large Pokemon without having it in a Pokeball. Tomo sighed, scratching his head. Maybe he was better off with his Kangaskhan family.
But still, he was hell-bent on at least exploring human society. After all, he was a human, even if he was raised by Pokemon. He walked further until he reached an area with a crowd of people, looking past some sort of fence. Curiously, Tomo walked up to it, the two Kangaskhan following. As he looked through the fence, he seen a small lake on the other side- a swimming Pokemon inside it. It was blue, had a long neck and flippers, and a grey spiky shell on it's back. Tomo looked at the new Pokemon in amazement. But why was it trapped in this fence? It didn't look aggressive. Little did Tomo know that it was a type of small zoo- where people could look at Pokemon on display. Tomo probably would have attempted to break the fence to free it- if the Pokemon could walk on land. However, the Lapras seemed quite content. Tomo frowned, looking at his family.
"It's wrong to keep Pokemon as pets. They should be free, like the Pokemon in the Pokemon Preserve. Right, Khan?" He asked his brother with a smile, who happily agreed with him. At least someone did. These people would never understand- they saw Pokemon as tools of fighting, but Tomo saw them as equals. Of course, it was hard not to when you were raised by them. Tomo turned away from the Lapras, going to see the other new things in the city.
He wandered towards a building with a red roof- the Pokemon Center. As he stepped towards the large glass doors, he put his hands to the glass, wondering how he was supposed to get through the door- as when he pushed on them they refused to open. Then suddenly the doors pulled apart "magically", making Tomo jump back in shock. After a few moments, the doors closed again- Tomo still in shock by how the doors had opened. Still, he walked forwards again, still surprised when the doors opened. He looked down as he felt a rubber mat beneath his feet, wondering if that had something to do with why the doors opened. The Kangaskhan Kid shrugged it off, walking inside- feeling the cool tiled floor beneath his bare feet, "Momma" right behind him.
He noticed a few trainers up at the counter, recieving Pokeballs from a red-headed woman who smiled at them politely. A trainer released the Pokemon from the Pokeball, delighted to see that the Politoed was allright. Tomo scratched his head in confusion. Why was the woman giving Pokemon away? Didn't she care for them? He walked up to the counter, standing on his toes to seem taller, as he felt short behind it. "Why are you giving Pokemon away?" Tomo asked.
The nurse looked a bit surprised at him, but laughed. "Excuse me? I'm not giving them away, I return them to their trainers safe and sound once I heal them. I'm Nurse Joy. Haven't you ever heard of a Pokemon Center before?" She asked with a giggle. Tomo merely shook his head, feeling a bit embarassed. "Oh, what darling Kangaskhan! Do you want me to fix them up?" Nurse Joy asked the boy, guessing that he hadn't known how to heal Pokemon effectively on his own, as he hadn't even known what a Pokemon Center was. Tomo looked shocked, but could see that they were getting tired from their traveling.
"You'll...you'll give them back, right?" He wanted to make sure that she would, as he didn't entirely trust her, yet. However, the other trainers had gotten their Pokemon back and seemed satisfied. Nurse Joy chuckled.
"Of course I will! So is that a 'yes'?" Tomo was silent, looking down at the Kangaskhan for a few moments before looking back at Nurse Joy, who smiled comfortingly at him. "Just bring them back here, please." She said before dissapearing behind another door. Tomo bit his lip, but followed, leading the Pokemon into the room. As soon as he did, the nurse sprayed a potion on the Pokemon and then fed them Pokeblocks, leaving the two quite refreshed and happy. Tomo smiled, seeing that he could trust her. Perhaps there were some people besides his family who he could put his faith in.
After Thoughts: Eh, not really. xP
