"I-i would just lure it into a false sense of security?" He said, more of a question than an actual response. He shrugged it off soon enough, however, and turned his attention for the more pressing matter of WHERE THE HELL THEY WERE. Glancing down at the phone that was his only source of light, he began clicking seemingly random numbers in an attempt to see if the internet was working on it. Of course he had the internet on his phone, after all. He needed to do really important things like look up funny Pokemon videos and see how many hits his name had. But he was not planning on doing any of that right now, no no, he had a much more important thing to do.
Like see if he could track where they were and pull up a map or something.
However, as anyone could easily guess, the middle of a dense forest at night was not the best place to be looking for service. Swearing under his breathe, he raised his phone above him and began moving about the clearing in an attempt to find that magic spot that would allow him to save them. It didn't happen. Giving an annoyed huff, he glanced over towards Domino, who may or may not been wondering about what the hell he was doing.
"Trying to pull up a map," He said simply, finally giving up and heading back towards her. "I knew I shouldn't have left that map of Kanto back there, it PROBABLY would have come in handy... Although a map like that can't tell you where you are right now." Feeling a little bit better at that revelation, he nodded, content that it would not have done much anyway even if he had been able to bring it along.
As she spoke, he blinked in obvious confusion, then gave a mock-insulted look. "Hey, hey, hey! You can't blame me for asking! It only makes sense you know. A-although that sounds like a reeeaallly uncomfortable place to put something like that, if you ask me. I would hope Team Rocket was knowledgeable about the wonderful invention of the belt and bag." He knew she was joking, of course. He wasn't a complete idiot. But what else could he do but joke back? Especially in a situation like this. He had to keep laughing lest he go insane.
And everyone knew that would just make him easier prey for the ghosts.
At her question, he gave a slightly embarrassed grin. "W-well yes, the girls. I heard from my friend that they are very good-looking. ...And smell really good. But! That's not the only reason! Really!" He almost sounded as if he was trying to convince himself as much as her, although the next things he said were indeed true. "It was either Celadon, or Lavender. And Lavender is almost as creepy as this forest. I could NOT spend the night there if you paid me." He gave a slight shudder before continuing. "And I was not going through Rock Tunnel, because it's dark and I would run into walls, and I don't know about Saffron sometimes." Shrugging once more, he finally finished his explanation.
"I try," he supplied with a grin as she accused him of being ridiculous. "And fine! I'll get going! It'll be harder for us to be followed if we actually, you know, move, anyway." He followed after her quickly, determined to not be left behind. He waved his phone about in a slightly amusing way in an attempt to shed light on every dark corner, but it wasn't working out very well at all. Still he continued on. It was better than sitting there alone in the darkness, waiting to be eaten of whatever, right?
"Maybe if Raichu would learn Flash..." He mumbled, slightly irritated before giving an almost defeated sigh and continuing talking (he did that an awful lot, he noticed.) "So, where do you live then? Or, er, do you live in one place, or do you just... travel... a lot." He didn't make sense, even to himself, and figured that she was probably sick of answering personal questions already. But he was NOT going to walk in silence... at all.
